By creating an account, accessing, or using any features of NaijaBased, you explicitly agree to abide by these Terms of Service and our community guidelines. Your continued use of the platform constitutes ongoing acceptance of these terms.

If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

• You must be at least 13 years old to create and maintain an account.
• Users between 13–17 years require verifiable parental or guardian consent.
• You must have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements in your jurisdiction.
• Business listings are open to all legitimate Nigerian-registered businesses.

• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential. Do not share them with others.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach at support@naijabased.fun.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date account information at all times.

To maintain a safe, welcoming community environment, you agree not to:

• Post harmful, illegal, defamatory, or misleading content.
• Engage in harassment, bullying, hate speech, or abusive behavior.
• Impersonate other individuals or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization.
• Send spam, unsolicited commercial messages, or engage in mass messaging.
• Share private information of others without their explicit consent.
• Distribute malware, attempt hacking, or compromise platform security.
• Create multiple accounts for abusive or fraudulent purposes.

Violations may result in content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination.

• Businesses listed on NaijaBased are responsible for the accuracy of their information.
• NaijaBased reserves the right to remove listings that violate our policies or contain inaccurate information.
• Basic listings are free. Verified listing programmes may be subject to separate pricing terms.
• Businesses must have a legitimate presence in Nigeria to be listed.

• You retain all ownership rights to the original content you create and post.
• By posting content, you grant NaijaBased a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and promote your content within the platform.
• You are solely responsible for the content you post and must have all necessary rights to share it.
• All NaijaBased branding, logos, and platform code are owned by NaijaBased and may not be reproduced without written permission.

• We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms of Service.
• We may take action against accounts that misuse platform features or engage in harmful activities.
• You may terminate your account at any time through Settings or by contacting support@naijabased.fun.

NaijaBased is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, or error-free service availability, accuracy of user-generated content, or specific results from using our platform.

NaijaBased shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria. Disputes shall be handled in accordance with the laws of Ondo State, Nigeria. We encourage contacting us first to resolve any issues amicably before formal proceedings.

We may update these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email and platform notices. Continued use of NaijaBased after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage periodic review of these terms.
